Multi-aged children enjoy mutually beneficial relationships.

Because there are varying ability levels in each classroom, they tend to grasp concepts more quickly since they aren’t limited to what is deemed as “age-appropriate lessons” only.

Older children get to reinforce their new skills by showing a younger child how to do the same, allowing them to be leaders, and gaining confidence as a peer looks up to them.

Younger children learn through watching the older children, and use what they see to inform early problem-solving.

Independence. Expect to see students choosing their own work, preparing snacks by themselves, putting away their work without being asked, and assisting other students needing help.
