A Montessori teacher carefully plans and prepares the environment and activity program in the interest of the children. They facilitate classroom activity and help guide your child from one activity to the next. They work with each child individually, allowing them to choose activities based on their interest and ability independently. The teacher’s role is to monitor and observe while your child is working, giving your child the satisfaction of their discovery.
When the time comes to move into a more traditional school environment, Montessori children typically adapt well. Our programs help children develop self- confidence and problem-solving skills to be well-equipped to face life’s challenges and change. The Montessori environment builds self-esteem, which research has shown to be vital in developing critical adaptive life skills.

"(My daughter) is developing attributes that will serve her for life, such as a love for learning."

My four-year-old daughter has been going to school here for over a year, and we could not be happier. We love the teachers and staff most of all! They are kind, nurturing, and experts in their knowledge of children. Our daughter loves school and recently asked to go longer hours. Although the schedule seemed long to us, we obliged because we know what a valuable experience it continues to be for her growth and development. She is developing attributes that will serve her for life, such as a love for learning, respect for others, a sense of responsibility, and confidence in herself. If I could give more stars, I would!
